OMNeT++ is a modular, extensible and component-based C++ simulation framework and library which will help you easily build network simulators. The utility lets you create simulators for a wide variety of network types, including wireless and wired communication networks, queueing networks, on-chip networks, and many others. The program also comes with domain-specific functionality, including support for wireless ad-hoc networks, performance modeling, sensor networks, Internet protocols, photonic networks, and more.
OMNeT++ comes with an Eclipse-based Integrated Development Environment, a graphical runtime environment, and many other tools. The program features extensions for network emulation, real-time simulation, SystemC integration, database integration, and lots of other functions.
OMNeT++ offers a component architecture for models and comes with extensive GUI support. Due to its modular architecture, the models and simulation kernel can be easily embedded into your applications.

ZigBee is a low-rate wireless personal area network (LRWPAN) standard that is used in a wide range of applications such as sensor networks, home automation, industrial automation, health monitoring and the Internet of Things (IoT). The Communications System Toolbox™ Library for the ZigBee Protocol provides end-to-end simulation of the entire communications stack (PHY, MAC, NET, APP). With this library, you can simulate the following:

* Waveform generation and decoding for the original IEEE 802.15.4 specification and IEEE 802.15.4b/c/d
* Practical signal recovery for IEEE 802.15.4 OQPSK signals at 2.4 GHz
• MAC layer examples:
