Dark Souls 2 Save Editor Ps3 Download
Hello all, I've been working on a little tool (with help from a friend) for some fun in Dark Souls 2 that I've called 'Any Save File'. It's a tool that lets you load your friends save files (PC) and play them on your computer.
Once your computer has loaded your friend's save file, you don't need to run the tool again because once you quit the game your computer will convert the file for use on your computer.
Disclaimer: Backup your save files prior to use.*
Instructions:
Obtain a friend's save file
2. Goto Windows Explorer (Right-click the 'Start' button, 'Open Windows Explorer')
3. In the address bar of Windows Explorer type '%appdata%' (no quotes).
4. Navigate to the 'DarkSoulsII ' directory.
5. Copy your 'DARKSII0000.sl2' file to somewhere safe as this is your personal character, I usually rename it to 'DARKSII0000-Backup.sl2' or the like.
6. Paste your friend's save file in this directory and make sure the file is named 'DARKSII0000.sl2'
7. Run Dark Souls 2
8. Run 'DarkSouls2_AnySaveFile.exe' (You only need to do this once since when you quit your friend's character, it'll be updated to run on your computer)
9. Press 'Continue' and play your friend's game
Your PC's Dark Souls 2 save files are located in your '%appdata%DarkSoulsII' directory. To easily access this directory open windows explorer and in the address bar type '%appdata%' (no quotes). With this tool you can exchange save files with a friend to play their character. We've had the most fun loading each others characters and dueling each other on them.

Virus Total Results: 3 scans detected (ProcessPatcher) which it is because it injects a dll into DarkSoulsII.exe and modifies code directly there to allow you to play other people's save files. There's error checking to make sure it doesn't overwrite bytes it shouldn't. Exactly 10 bytes are modified in 'DarkSoulsII.exe'.
